A couple of years ago I saw this super cute Easter Bunting project which I had wanted to do with the terrible trio, but I always seemed to run out of time to do it. However with the circumstances the way they are we have heaps of time! And you can make some too!
I printed off the bunny template on some cheap and nasty water colour paper that I had lying around – it wasn’t great for much else to be honest.
We used markers, some water colour paints, paper scraps, oil pastels, gel pens, coloured pencils & cotton balls. We didn’t use any of my art supplies we used things that we thought most people would have in the home.
Before we started we went over the four rules of doing art with mama!
- No Judgement – we don’t judge others or our own art work. We never say our work is bad, or crap or no good.
- There are no mistake in art – we embrace our imperfections
- We always try. We try new things, we try to do our best first, and then we ask for help.
- There are no rules in art! Anything goes.
And I loved how they all embraced their own styles – we have ombre bunnies, rainbow bunnies, and collaged bunnies
So when we had finished the decorating part we cut them out to put on a piece of string for our easter bunting.
Currently they are on the wall of the studio so I could get some photos to share with you, but the girls would like them down in their tv room. We used wooden pegs to hang them, but you can use bulldog clips, paper clips, punch holes in them or even fold over their ears or legs to hang them on the bunting.
You can join in on some Easter fun with us – If you click on the image below you can download a pdf version of the little bunnies.

And if you do make your own Easter bunnies I would love it if you shared them with me and the girls, either by tagging @lillibeandesigns on facebook and instagram or emailing us pics through this link here.
Enjoy!
