I’m not sure I’ve ever mentioned it here before, but I am slightly… indoor plant obsessed.
There is nothing I love more than walking into my kitchen or studio and seeing pops of green foliage draping down shelves or hanging from the ceiling in pots.
Now, I’m not exactly a great plant mum; I’ve had my fair share of plant losses, but tending to them and propagating little cuttings always helps me feel connected and grounded.
Over the weekend, I spent a couple of hours tending to my rather neglected plant babies, and it reminded me of something I’d never actually shared here.
My wee Sprites.
I love the idea that tiny bits of magic can live quietly in everyday spaces – hidden between leaves or tucked onto a shelf, and if you visited my stall at the November Canberra Handmade Market or the December River & Wren market, you might have spotted these little faces peeking out from the leaves.
There’s something ridiculously joyful about seeing these tiny sprites hiding among the leaves, and of course, I couldn’t resist keeping a couple for my own studio.
They’re perfect for twisting gently around plant stems, curling along shelves, or even wrapping around your car mirror for a little dash of everyday magic.
The studio boss, Luna,  is also completely obsessed with them. She regularly jumps up on shelves she has absolutely no business being on, just to play with them.
And although it’s taken me a few months… they are finally in the shop.
I only made 15 of these Wee Sprites, and each one has its own tiny personality.
They’re the sort of small collectables I love most – little pieces of art that quietly bring whimsy into everyday corners.
And because each Sprite carries the energy of play, whimsy and mischief, they would also make the sweetest gift.
If you’d like a little sprite to hide among your plants, too, you can find them here.
From my whimsy world to yours.
