CELESTE is a queen of the night, know by many in her lands as the Dark Queen, her crown is the last flash of light before the sun sets below the horizon.

You will often see the glow of her crown after the true dark has fallen, weaving through the forest as she listens to the humming birds whisper their secrets in the night.

CELESTE is a mixed media painting, with collage elements from my travels, my early art practices, my children’s school work and other ephemera like book pages etc.

CELESTE also has collage elements – such as the ruffle on her gown.

CELESTE is on canvas and measures 40cm x 50cm. (Please note: Colour intensity may vary from screen to screen.)
