WANDERING STAR was inspired by a song from the album Dummy by Portishead.

W A N D E R I N G    S T A R

Doubled up inside
Take a while to shed my grief

Wandering Stars, for whom it is reserved,
The blackness of darkness forever.

And so I wonder under the wandering stars, against the blackness of night, what shines brighter than the spark of a dream?

WANDERING STAR is a mixed media painting, with collage elements from my travels, my early art practices, my children’s school work and other ephemera like book pages etc.

WANDERING STAR also has collage elements – resin topped stars, black chain with resin topped stars hanging from a wooden disk195, papers etc.

WANDERING STAR is on a wooden disk and measures approx 25cm in diameter. (Please note: Colour intensity may vary from screen to screen.)
