SHELTERED

When painting this my baby (wee beastie) had just started school. And I realised that her transition wasn’t going very well. I knew that she loved school and had been desperate to go but no one had told her the rules and so she was being punished for climbing trees and playing in puddles and all I wanted to do was shelter her from the realities of school and keep her wild spirit intact.
